Facienne is growing up

Months have went by and I just don't seem to have time left to post a new blog. So much has happened,so many challenges,as a mother,teacher and a singer. Well for now I can only sing at home, because every day is a long day, I mean work,work and work. Beeing a teacher is rewarding,but its really time consuming. Tommorow the report cards must be ready,and that's the part I really don't like of this job. I went to Facienne parent teacher meeting. Yes my little girl is in school now and she's doing fine. It looks like she will be artistic too just like mom and of course dad who is an artist. The picture above was taken a year ago,at an exhibition of Robbert in Suriname "The Time"" with Facienne and the then first Lady of Suriname: Liesbeth Venetiaan and Robbert.

Genius Maker

When my mom told me about this product,I was very skeptical,because there's so much hype,and people are trying to take advantage of parents with small kids to make a quick buck. But to tell you the truth my mother convinced me that this so called genius maker could be a good "study" for our little Facienne who became 2 years
on the 31th of December 2009. Wow,talking about how time flies....

My music

It's been a long time that I've performed,as a singer.
I was very busy with my job as a teacher,and of course
when I got pregnant from Facienne,I only sang for my baby.

Now Robbert will have an exposition in Suriname,and I hope to
perform some songs of Djavan the Brazilian Singer songwriter,
who I like very much. I also think that the warm exotic songs
of Djavan will fit into the environment of the exposition.
